Bernie Grybowski, President
Bernie left corporate financial analysis and treasury to become a Partner in an International Executive Recruiting firm. He began his Investment Banking activities in 1987 with the IPO of SoftKey Software Products Inc., which rose from an initial market cap of $4 million to become The Learning Company at $4 billion. He subsequently concluded several management and leveraged buyouts up to $200 million in value, before co-Founding HDL Capital in 1993. He holds an MBA from the University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto.

Tyler Lang, Vice President
Prior to joining HDL, Tyler had extensive experience in the strategic planning, financing, launch and operational management of numerous ventures across a range of areas including Marketing Communications, Internet, New Media, and Software & Technology. He has played a key role in the financing and corporate development of the majority of HDL portfolio companies from their inception, recently serving as President of one of these companies. Prior to working in the technology sector, Tyler worked in the financial sector in retail banking and for the Federal government. Tyler holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University, and an Honors Bachelor of Arts from Carleton University.

Stephen Lambros MD, Vice President
Steve has joined HDL Capital Corporation to implement HDL’s
Biotechnology and Healthcare strategy. He spent 10 years as a full
time Emergency Physician before turning his attention to
Biotechnology analysis in 2001. His medical practice at this time is
as a clinical associate at the division of Cardiovascular Surgery at
the Toronto General Hospital. In addition to his medical training,
Steve possesses a strong business acumen developed through
operational experience as a CMO of a publicly listed development
stage Biotechnology company. Both Steve and HDL share the view that
the Biotechnology and Healthcare Industries offer significant
investment opportunities at this time. Steve will be identifying investment
ready Biotechnology and Healthcare players with compelling science,
leading going public transactions, working with HDL to raise
private and public financing, as well as leading M&A transactions(where applicable).
Steve attended University of Alberta where he studied Biochemistry,
and received his Medical Degree from Queen’s University.
