Reverse Takeovers/CPC's/"Going Public"

Reverse Takeovers ("RTOs", also referred to as "Reverse Mergers"), when managed properly, are a solid strategy to fuel rapid growth. (Some of today ¡s largest companies had their humble beginnings with an RTO; one of the most famous success stories being, Turner Broadcasting, which grew rapidly as a result of an RTO in the late seventies).

HDL has managed approximately a dozen, including some of Canada’s most successful RTO’s, has a wealth of RTO vehicles at its disposal, and has the capabilities to spearhead the ongoing, post-RTO public "process" to ensure the preservation of value in the short and long term.

Joint Ventures/Strategic Alliances

JV¡s and Strategic Alliances are an excellent way to explore strategic relationships and expand the sales, production, or territorial scope of your business without the "permanency" of a full out Merger or Acquisition. Factors such as performance measurement, exclusivity, territory, must be considered at the outset of negotiations, and the deal should take into account as many eventualities as possible.
